Abstract

La Lingüística Cognitiva presupone que, si podemos rastrear entre las expresiones de un idioma y agruparlas según su semántica, podemos identificar los esquemas metafóricos usados. Tres corpus generales en gallego, portugués y español de expresiones no proverbiales, no paralelos pero sí con definiciones, permiten realizar búsquedas para hallar aquellas relacionadas particularmente con la vergüenza en una acepción particular. Gracias a esto, detectamos un grupo de esquemas simples, que además se repiten combinándose entre sí, comprobando que coinciden en buena medida en las tres lenguas, con dominios fuente como carga, rojo, temperatura, descenso, comportamiento animal y esconder(se) o huir, junto con otros esquemas que usan de partes del cuerpo: cara, cabeza, orejas, ojos y boca. Dejamos para futuras contribuciones trabajar con más lenguas y con el concepto contrario (desvergüenza), analizando esquemas en buena medida opuestos, lo que permitirá describir una archimetáfora que abarque todos estos esquemas.

Víctor Fresco Barbeito es Ingeniero Técnico Forestal y Licenciado en Filología Gallega. Aunque trabaja en el Seminario de Terminoloxía de la Real Academia Galega, sus áreas de interés se amplían a la Lexicología y varias de sus ramificaciones: Lexicografía, Etimología, Toponimia, Fraseología y Lingüística Informática y Aplicada. Sus enfoques y marcos de trabajo son los de la Lingüística Contrastiva y la Lingüística Cognitiva.
