Le espressioni idiomatiche gestuo-cinesiche in italiano
Abstract
Il lavoro prende in esame un tipo particolare di espressioni idiomatiche, chiamate qui gestuo-cinesiche, caratterizzate dal fatto di riferirsi a gesti e altri comportamenti cinesici quali movimenti di parti del corpo (girarsi i pollici), espressioni facciali (storcere il naso), posture (mettersi in ginocchio). Partendo da un corpus di 660 locuzioni italiane, ne viene proposta un’analisi basata sia su variabili cinesiche, sia su variabili semantiche. In conclusione si propongono alcune riflessioni sulla natura di queste espressioni da un lato come modi di lessicalizzazione di comportamenti comunicativi non verbali, dall’altro come casi “da manuale” di riferimento al corpo per la metaforizzazione di concetti astratti.
