Un nuevo paradigma: la competencia comunicativa multilingüe (CCM)

Abstract

The impact of foreign language (FL) acquisition/learning/teaching (A/L/E) today is immense. Most educational systems include one or more foreign languages in their academic curricula. Thus, over time, the possible competencies to be acquired by the learner in the subject have been conceptualized, but approaching the notion of “competence” and its typology is not an easy task if the aim is to delimit the framework of action regarding multilingualism in all its dimensions. This article proposes a paradigm shift of the multilingual learner in formal contexts, bringing his or her competences closer to the new socio-global reality we are witnessing.
